Initiatives for 2010-2011
TAMEST’s strategic plan identified the development of a comprehensive communications strategy as a priority for 2010-2011, to include an annual report, e-newsletters, a constituent relations management database, a website redesign, marketing and PR outreach for events, programs and recognition, and publications highlighting research advancements and accomplishments.
Your valued contributions to TAMEST will allow us to expedite our efforts to implement an effective communications plan to raise awareness and recognition of the important work undertaken by researchers in medicine, engineering and science in Texas.
How We Are Supported
TAMEST receives financial support in the form of annual dues from member institutions, conference sponsorships, grants for special projects, individual contributions and proceeds from endowments.

As an individual contributor, you can assist The Academy in its mission by donating to the TAMEST Endowment Fund and/or the Annual Fund for operations and programs.

TAMEST Endowment Fund
Established in 2006 with a gift from the late Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, the TAMEST Endowment Fund provides long-term support to expand current programs and launch new initiatives to advance the organization's goals. Endowment gifts are restricted to the Fund which provides periodic distributions of earnings to provide operational and program support in perpetuity.
TAMEST Annual Fund
The Annual Campaign Fund provides an opportunity for members and friends to support TAMEST through unrestricted gifts that provide supplemental financial resources that will be used to enhance current programs and develop new initiatives. |
