Giving to TAMEST

Why It Matters

TAMEST is committed to building a better future for all Texans and ensuring the Lone Star State's place as a national leader in science, innovation and economic opportunity. To realize this vision, we need your support to build upon TAMEST's success and continue its mission of promoting excellence in science and technology that directly impacts the state’s economy.

Initiatives for 2012

TAMEST will continue to expand and enhance its constituent and media outreach efforts though e-newsletters, email blasts, the 2011 annual report, website content and social networking websites. In addition, the TAMEST website will be redesigned to include greater content presentation and usability as well as feature new sections focused on medicine, engineering, science, technology innovation and education.

The 2012 Texas Water Summit, to be held on May 20-21, 2012, will be the second in a series of critical issues forums designed to address topics of special interest to Texas government, industry and the research community.

Your valued contributions to TAMEST will allow us to accelerate our efforts to raise awareness and recognition of the important work undertaken by researchers in medicine, engineering and science in Texas as well as provide stimulating forums for interaction on topics of critical importance.
